Information You Provide
In gathering user information, Vortex Game Studio’s main aim user information is to provide and enhance the Service and to enable users to easily navigate and enjoy the Service. To better analyze use behavior towards our games, we make use of user information. For example, we may analyze user information to determine how often a user plays a particular game, if a user purchases premium goods and other similar events.
When you install any of our games, we may collect and record the information you provide us voluntarily through www.facebook.com (“Facebook”) and/or other social network(s) in accordance with the policies and terms of Facebook and/or other social network(s).
We may gather both Personal and Non-Personal Information. Personal Information is defined as information about you that can be used to contact or identify you such as your name, email address, home address, and phone number. Personal Information does not include aggregate information, which is data, we collect about the characteristics and activities of users of the Service.
When you download our Apps, Information is being collected about you in various ways. We collect personal information you provide to us. For example, we collect your name, email address and any other address you provide, and any other information you provide us when you contact us for support or provide feedback. We may also acquire information from other sources and combine that with information we collect on our Apps. The email address will be retained by us and we may use that email address to contact you about other Vortex Game Studio games.
You may also be requested to provide your age information, including your date of birth to customize our App’s content and other features.
If you choose to connect to us through one of our Websites/Apps/Games through a third-party social network such as Facebook or any other third-party social network, we may collect Personal Information from your profile on such third-party social networks. Referring to the information like: name, username, photography and other information offered by the third-party social network.
Additionally, you may choose to share additional information about yourself throughout the Service, such as in games or on message boards. Any actions you perform with other players are considered public, and are at your sole discretion.
We may use your information to operate and improve our Apps, products, and services, to understand your preferences, to enhance your experience and enjoyment using our Site and Apps and to send you push notifications. We may send you related information, including confirmations, invoices, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages and communicate with you about new contests, promotions, rewards, upcoming events, and other news about products and services offered by Vortex Game Studio and our selected partners.
We may use your name, profile picture and game play information to communicate with your friends that are also connected to the Service. We may also disclose information about you to our partners in order to provide the Service, resolve service problems and correct errors in the Service, to communicate with you about the Service, to provide you with advertising and promotional information in connection with the Service, and to upgrade your experience on the Service. Information Automatically Collected
Some information is automatically collected when you use any of our Apps. For example, we collect a unique identifier for the device on which you install an App. Our servers (which may be hosted by a third party service provider) also collect information from you, including your browser type, device type, operating system, application software, Internet Protocol (IP) address (a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet, which may vary from session to session), MAC address, Open Device Identification Number (ODIN), domain name, date/time stamps for your use of the App.
Our Apps may also allow you to make “in-App” purchases. When making an In App purchase through our games Services (Google play store, Apple App Store, Amazon, Windows, etc) manages your credit card information and other billing information. Vortex Game Studio does not have access to your credit card details and billing information. We may receive such information from the platform provider (Services), including the item purchased, the name of the game you are playing, and other information about your purchase.
Our Apps may also automatically receive age information, including date of birth, from the platform provider or which is related.
We may also automatically collect information related to the overall effectiveness of our advertising campaigns via our advertisements delivered on third party web sites, apps and services (“Our Ads”). For example, we may collect information related to the number of people who click on Our Ads, and the number of people who download one of our Apps or other products via Our Ads. We may combine the information we collect via Our Ads with other information we collect via our Apps.
Third Parties Who Collect Information On Our Site and Apps
If you use any of our Apps in connection with a social networking site (such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, or LinkedIn) (“Social Networking Sites”), we may receive information about you from such Social Networking Sites, in accordance with such Social Networking Site’s terms of use and privacy policy. For instance, if you associate your App with your Facebook account, Facebook will provide the App the applicable information (which may include your name, profile picture, gender, networks, user ID, list of friends, your email address, location, birthday and publishing stream, and other information you store on Facebook.
You can choose to log into your Vortex Game Studio Profile using your Facebook account details. If you do this, you will be able to use your Facebook account to log in on multiple devices and synchronize progress across those devices. We will receive some of your Facebook account information and exactly what information we receive will depend on your settings in your Facebook account. We may use this information for the purposes described in this privacy policy, including in order to advertise to you. Through this, you will also be able to see which of your friends are playing the same game and their progress through the games (and they will be able to see you and your progress). This will further give you access to other functionality in our games and other services, such as inviting friends to play, asking other players for lives and gifts and one-to-one messaging. Logging in with Facebook will not allow us to post anything to your Facebook page without your permission.
Mobile Analytics: We use mobile analytics software to allow us to better understand the functionality of our Mobile Software on your device. This software may record information such as how often you use the application, the events that occur within the application, aggregated usage, performance data, and where the application was downloaded from. We do not link the information we store within the analytics software to any personal information you submit within the mobile application.
Third Party Services: Our services may contain third party tracking tools from our service providers, examples of which include Google Analytics. We use third party analytics tools, to collect information about how you play our games and those tools may use cookies or other similar tracking technologies. This data may be used to carry out research, surveys or to engage directly with you, for example by sending you communications (including by email), for these purposes. We may also create reports, analysis or similar services for use by us for the purposes of research or business intelligence, for example to track potential problems or trends with our Services, or to test out new game features and content. The third parties may have access to information such as your device identifier, MAC address, IMEI, locale (specific location where a given language is spoken), geo-location information, and IP address for the purpose of providing their services under their respective privacy policies. Vortex Game Studio is not responsible for any third party providing any Activity on its App, or the information collected by such third parties. We do not have access or control over these third parties. Please refer to our list of analytics and ad networks for their privacy policy which are Google Analytics, Admob, Vungle, Chartboost, Heyzap, Unity Ad, Adcolony.
Third Party Advertisements: Moreover, we may also use third parties to serve ads on our Apps. Certain third parties may automatically collect information about you, such as your service session activity, IP address, device identifier, MAC address, IMEI and geo location. They may use this information to provide advertisements of interest to you. This policy does not apply to, and we are not responsible for, cookies or clear gifs in third party ads, and we encourage you to check the privacy policies of advertisers and/or ad services to learn about their use of cookies and other technology. Other Disclosure of Your Personal Information
You understand and agree that we may be required to disclose any personal information if required to do so by law, such as to comply with a law, or when we believe that release is appropriate to comply with the law; investigate fraud, respond to a government request, enforce or apply our rights; or protect the rights, property, or safety of us or our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection. Note that Vortex Game Studio is not required to question or contest the validity of any search warrant, subpoena or other similar governmental request that Vortex Game Studio may receive.
Vortex Game Studio may share your information in connection with any merger, sale of our assets, or a financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company. You will be notified via email and/or through notice on our site of any change in ownership or about the users of your personal information.
Cookies
A cookie is a small data file that we transfer to your computer hard disk for record keeping purposes. Generally, a cookie identifies a user’s computer and “remembers” things about the user’s visit, such as your preferences or a user name and password. The Service sends cookies to your computer when you access or view content of any Vortex Game Studio. Changing or Deleting Your Information
You may review, update, correct or delete any personal information by changing the applicable information in your profile page on Facebook and/or other social network(s). If you completely delete all this information, your account may become deactivated. If you would like us to delete your record in our system, please contact us and we will attempt to accommodate your request if we are not legally obligated to retain the record.
Security
Vortex Game Studio takes reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access or against loss, misuse or alteration by third parties.
Although we make good faith efforts to store the information collected on the Service in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of that information during its transmission or its storage on our systems. Further, while we attempt to ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent third-party “hackers” from illegally obtaining access to this information. We do not warrant or represent that your information will be protected against, loss, misuse, or alteration by third parties. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Policy Regarding Children
Many of our Games are intended for general audiences, and we do not knowingly collect or use any Personal Information from children under the age of 13 without the permission of their parent/guardians. To the extent we feel that any of our Apps are directed to children under the age of 13, we will not collect Personal Information from users of those Apps. If you are a parent of a child under 13 years of age and you believe your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us and we will delete the information from our system.
We may collect Non-Personal Information, such as a device ID or other persistent identifier linked to the device or computer, which may be used by a child to play our Apps. The data collected will be anonymous and not tied to any Personal Information. In addition, this data will be used solely for internal purposes such as personalization of content, security, and contextual (not behavioral) advertising. Certain of our Websites/Apps may permit in-game purchases, even if the applicable game was free to download. Such purchases do not always require the re-entry of credit card information because they may be made through an existing third-party account. If you are a parent who is concerned about this feature, you may disable the ability to make in-game purchases on your phone and actively monitor your child’s use. If you are between the age of 13 and 18, please obtain your parents’ permission prior to registering with our Platform or providing us with any Personal Information.
